Animal/Cell Resources
Biocytogen’s foundational technology is gene editing. Our genetic experts can provide a full range of gene editing animal/cell models for basic scientific research and preclinical evaluation of drug research and development, including 1000+ resources such as target humanized mice (immune checkpoint humanized mice, cytokine humanized mice, etc.), severe immunodeficiency B-NDG mice, etc., as well as gene-edited spontaneous disease models, target humanized and luciferase cell lines, and so on. Meanwhile, our large AAALAC certified facility houses thousands of ongoing animal products to meet the needs of model animals for all users worldwide.
Disease Model Resources
Focusing on the three major disease fields of tumor immunity/oncology, autoimmunity and endocrine/metabolic disorders, Biocytogen has established a vast supply ofdisease models. Our models include murine homologous cell lines and tumor models, human tumor cell transplantation (CDX) and tissue transplantation (PDX) models, immunodeficient models for human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and human hematopoietic stem cell (CD34+ HSC) transplantation for immune reconstitution, autoimmune models that recapitulate symptoms of asthma, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, arthritis, enteritis, etc., and metabolism models such as diabetes and NASH. Together these models simulate the occurrence of human diseases to a greater extent and provide stable and effective model resources for the evaluation of drugs for disease treatment, thus providing international standard pharmacological& pharmacodynamic services for the majority of partners.
Oncology
Cancer immunotherapy is one of the promising breakthroughs in anti-cancer therapy in recent years, and its principle is to control and remove tumors by activating the immune system. In general, the immune checkpoint genes of common mice are homologous to human genes, and antibodies targeting human proteins do not recognize proteins in mice, so tumor models established on common mice evaluate the in vivo efficacy of these antibody drugs. Theo Tu provides high-quality and comprehensive humanized mouse models of immune checkpoints to assist tumor immune drug research and development. In addition, Theo Tu also provides a powerful mouse model of human immune system reconstruction, as well as CDX and PDX models, meeting the preclinical pharmacological efficacy study and drug safety evaluation of various types of tumor immunity and tumor drugs.

Endocrine/Metabolic
With the improvement of living standards, changes in dietary structure, fast-paced life and the gradual aggravation of aging problems, the incidence of metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is increasing year by year, which has become one of the main disease types threatening human health and life span, and brings serious economic burden to patients and society, and is a major public health problem facing the world. Therefore, studying the pathogenesis of metabolic diseases and developing more effective therapeutic drugs have become new opportunities and challenges for scientists and pharmaceutical companies. In view of the R & D needs of metabolic diseases, Beiothy can provide a variety of animal models of diabetes and NASH, and at the same time, in combination with a series of heritable humanized mouse models independently developed by Beiothy, it can meet the preclinical pharmacological efficacy study and drug safety evaluation of various metabolic diseases.

Autoimmunity
The main function of the human immune system is to protect the host from pathogenic infections, which cause harm to the body when the immune system develops an immune response to some substances that are harmless to the body, that is, to produce allergic diseases, including autoimmune diseases (AID) and allergic diseases. Among them, autoimmune diseases refer to that when the body cannot distinguish whether the pathogen is "self" or "non-self", the immune tolerance of the immune system to its own components is broken, thus attacking its own organs, tissues or cells and causing damage, while allergic diseases refer to the tissue damage or dysfunction that occurs when the body that has produced immunity receives the same antigen again. Therefore, Theosetta provides a variety of powerful animal models related to autoimmune diseases and allergic diseases, such as enteritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, asthma and atopic dermatitis. At the same time, in combination with a series of heritable humanized mouse models independently developed by Bio-Thera, it meets the preclinical pharmacological efficacy study and drug safety evaluation for various autoimmune diseases and allergic diseases.
