mRNA expression analysis
Strain specific analysis of IL10 gene expression in WT and hIL10 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Il10 mRNA was detectable in splenocytes of wild-type (+/+) mice, Human IL10 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous (H/H) mice but not WT mice.
Protein expression analysis
Serum from both wild type (WT) C57BL/6 and homozygous B-hIL10 mice were analyzed by ELISA.
When treated with LPS, mouse IL10 was only detectable in WT C57BL/6 mice, while human IL10 was only detectable in homozygous B-hIL10 mice. ND, not detectable. n=3.
