Description
Homozygous mice for the targeted mutation are viable, fertile, normal in size and do not display any gross physical or behavioral abnormalities. In this strain, Cre recombinase expression is under the control of CAG promoter. When crossed with a strain containing a loxP-site flanked sequence of interest, Cre-mediated recombination will result in deletion of the floxed sequence in the offspring.
Application
•Function research of genes
•Systemic knockout of lethal target genes in embryos
Phenotype analysis
The genotype was B-CAG-iCreERT2(Mut/+)CAG-LSL-tdtomato(Mut/+) double-positive heterozygous mice were induced by Tamoxifen. The tdTomato red fluorescense protein signal was successfully detected in the tissue section experiment of the main tissues of the mice.
