Description
This B-Tg(Luc) A549 cell line expresses firefly luciferase as a marker of A549 cells. Fluorescence could be detected in B-Tg(Luc) A549 cells.
Application
B-Tg(Luc) A549 cell line can be used to evaluate anti-cancer drugs in lung carcinoma
in vivo.
Liver metastasis models of lung carcinoma can be established by tail vein injection, and provide more models for more drug evaluations.
Targeting strategy
Gene targeting strategy for B-Tg(Luc) A549 cells. The exogenous promoter and luciferase coding sequence were inserted into the mouse genome randomly.
Quantitative imaging data & body weight changes
B-Tg(Luc) A549 cells (1x106, 5x106 ,1x107) were injected into the tail vein of wild-type B-NDG mice. Signal intensity and body weight were measured twice a week. (A) Imaging was performed twice a week. (B) Body weight (Mean ± SEM). B-Tg(Luc) A549 cells can be used for in vivo efficacy evaluation.
Imaging analysis in vivo
HE staining
Tumor metastasis occurred in the liver of mice.
