Description
This B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cell line expresses firefly luciferase as a marker of MIA PaCa-2 cells. Luminescence can be observed B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells.
Application
B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cell line can be used to evaluate anti-cancer drugs in pancreas carcinoma
in vivo.
Targeting strategy
Gene targeting strategy for B-luc MIA PaCa-2. The stop-CAG-Pr-luciferase-PA- LoxP-PuroR- LoxP sequence was inserted in the AAVS1 locus of wild-type MIA PaCa-2.
In vivo Imaging Analysis
Tumor growth and in vivo imaging of B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells. B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells were subcutaneously inoculated into BALB/c nude mice . After the tumors were grown to appropriate size, the subcutaneous tumors were excised into small pieces and transplanted into BALB/c nude mouse pancreas in situ. Signal intensity and body weight were measured twice a week. (A) Imaging was performed on days 7, 13, 17, 24, and 31, (B) Mice body weight (Mean ± SEM). B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells can be used for in vivo efficacy evaluation.
Quantitative imaging data & body weight changes
Tumor growth and in vivo imaging of B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells. B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells (1x107 and 2x107) were subcutaneously implanted into the wild-type B-NDG mice. Signal intensity and body weight were measured twice a week. (A) Imaging was performed twice a week. (B) Body weight (Mean ± SEM). B-luc MIA PaCa-2 cells can be used for in vivo efficacy evaluation.
