Strain specific analysis of LRP10 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6N mice and B-hLRP10 mice by RT-PCR. Lung RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6N mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hLRP10 mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human LRP10 primers. Mouse Lrp10 mRNA was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6N mice. Human LRP10 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hLRP10 mice but not in wild-type mice. 

Western blot analysis of LRP10 protein expression in homozygous B-hLRP10 mice. Various tissue lysates were collected from wild-type C57BL/6N mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hLRP10 mice (H/H), and then analyzed by western blotting with anti-LRP10 antibody. 40 μg total proteins were loaded for western blotting analysis. LRP10 protein was detected in the lung，brain，kidney and colon of wild-type C57BL/6N mice and homozygous B-LRP10 mice, as the antibody showed cross-recognition both for human and mouse LRP10.
