Strain specific analysis of ITGB8 gene expression in wild-type mice and B-hITGB8 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Itgb8 mRNA was detectable in brain of wild-type mice (+/+). Human ITGB8 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hITGB8 mice (H/H) but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific ITGB8 expression analysis in homozygous B-hITGB8 mice by western blot. Brain tissue and uterus tissue were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hITGB8 mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-hITGB8 antibody. m/hITGB8 was detectable in wild-type mice and homozygous B-hITGB8 mice, as the antibody is crossly reactive with ITGB8 in human and mice.
