      Gene targeting strategy for B-hCXCL7/hCXCL4 mice. The exons 1-3 of mouse Cxcl7 gene that encode the full-length protein and the exons 1-3 of mouse Cxcl4 gene that encode the full-length protein including the non-coding region between Cxcl7 gene and Cxcl4 gene were replaced by human CXCL7 exons 1-3 and human CXCL4 exons 1-3 in B-hCXCL7/hCXCL4 mice.

      Protein expression analysis
      Strain specific CXCL7 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCXCL7/hCXCL4 mice by ELISA. Serum was collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCXCL7/hCXCL4 mice (H/H), and analyzed by ELISA with species-specific CXCL7 ELISA kit. Mouse CXCL7 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CXCL7 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCXCL7/hCXCL4 mice but not in wild-type mice.
