      Description

      In this strain, Cre recombinase expression is under the control of CAG promoter. When crossed with a strain containing a loxP site-flanked sequence of interest, Cre-mediated recombination results in deletion of the floxed sequences in widespread cells or tissues of the offspring.

      Phenotype Analysis

      B-CAG-iCre rats were bred to B-CAG-tdTomato cKI rats, tdTomato were detected in the double-positive rats.
